"Jon Fischer was my News Director for our start-up operation, WFTC-TV/FOX 29 News in Minneapolis. I've worked at more than a dozen TV stations in my career, and Jon was by far the most creative and forward thinking boss I've ever had. He was also intelligent, funny and quick on his feet. He's also a rare News Director in that he makes you know he really cares about you not only as an employee but as a person. When you work for Jon, you're not an underling...you become part of his family. I would gladly work for him again, or send friends of mine his way. Any station would be fortunate to have him!"
